Upcoming events and activities

Planned closures for 2024:

We will be closed on Thursday 2nd May for the local elections as the Church Hall is used as a polling station. When a general election is called at some point this year we will also be closed on that date.

Please note we are always closed on Bank Holidays so our planned closures for the rest of the year are as follows: Monday 6th May; Monday 27th May; and Monday 26th August.

Our last day before the Christmas break will be Monday 23rd December and we will then re-open Thursday 2nd January 2025.

In the event of closures due to emergencies, messages will be posted on social media.

Book Launch

Swindon Central Library

Open Door friend and long time supporter Carol Gibbon is launching her cookbook at the Central Library in Regent Circus. The book is a celebration of Carol's grandmother's recipes, and the family stories associated with them and the profits will be donated to Open Door.

There will be an opportunity to sample some of the cakes, and tea and coffee will also be available. The award-winning Open Door choir will be performing, and all are welcome to come along and enjoy the occasion.
